Unlike other scanners in the market the MIA3d intra-oral scanning system has a real scan output of all tooth surfaces, and not just an interpolated "filled in" scan data. The MIA3d is by far the most accurate of all scanners in the market.

For successful scanning with the MIA3d system, it is important that the Densys3D principles of tooth preparation are used.

Scanning is easy and quickly performed by placing the Wand head into the mouth, looking on the screen to see that it is in place and scanning by moving the Wand head, across and around the tooth/teeth.
